Historic Hospital in Mokrzeszów, Lower Silesia

The former hospital in Mokrzeszów (Lower Silesia) is an impressive neo-Gothic clinker brick building, built from 1883 as a Maltese hospital.

The stately central section with the dominant chapel bay gives the building a massive dimension and occasionally gives it the name chateau.

Southwest of it are remains of the former Kunzendorf manor. The manor house (Pałac w Mokrzeszowie) still exists today,
but has been heavily modernized and is used as an agricultural training center.

The former hospital in Mokrzeszów is for sale. The land use plan envisages a service facility here. Accordingly, the object could be operated after the redevelopment, for example, as a senior residence or even as a hotel. For the conversion to a hotel there was in the past also a provisional permission of the responsible monument preservationist.
