Former noble estate and manor in Bielawa is considered the most valuable monument in the city. It has hosted famous guests, including Frederick II and the Russian Tsar Alexander I. The complex was built in 1598 by Joachim von Netz as a defensive structure during the rule of the Habsburgs in Silesia.

After 137 years of rule, Ernst Heinrich and Joachim Ernst von Netz transferred the 5,500 hectares of land to Mrs. Barbara Sandreczky, née Gellhorn. Her husband, the noble-born Adam Boguslav von Sandreczky from Ostroszowice, acted as curator. The estate was passed down to successors in the following years.

In 1737, a fire destroyed the old noble castle. Two years later, it was rebuilt, retaining many elements of the previous structure. In 1886, the estate passed into the hands of the nephew of Count Hans von Sandreczky, Ernst Julius Adolf Erdmann von Seidlitz. On September 1, 1930, the city purchased the castle along with the buildings and land for 150,000 marks from Adolf von Seidlitz.

After the war, a vocational school was established. This was followed by the founding of a special school in 1956. Finally, after 1990, a special educational and counseling center followed, which included a preschool, primary school, secondary school and vocational school. All students were accommodated on the premises.

The two-story, partially basement building made of brick is located in Bielawa at ul. Wolności 92. It stands on flat terrain and is part of the protected ensemble of the Renaissance castle. The roof is made of wood and has a purlin roof structure. It is covered with tiles in a basket design and partially with bitumen.

Connections for electricity, water, and sewage are available.
