A Unique Property in a Green Rural Setting in Chotynia, 70 km South of Warsaw
We are pleased to offer you a special property from 1808 that captivates with its traditional Polish character, located in the picturesque countryside of Chotynia.
The Manor
Dworek w Chotyni is a typical country manor of the Polish gentry, known as a "Dworek" in Poland. Unlike the grand palaces of Polish magnate families, these manor houses are more compact and less opulent, yet no less elegant in their furnishings. The typical Polish Dworek is a long, single-story building with a small portico and usually features high-quality decorated salons. These structures are still numerous in central and eastern Poland, often built from wood.
The classical manor house from 1808 underwent extensive renovations between 1999 and 2003 and has since operated as a hotel and restaurant. At the entrance of the manor house, there is a Tuscan four-column portico topped with a triangular gable wall. The roof is thatched with reed and features semicircular windows known as ox-eye windows.
This estate is one of the few places in Poland where wine culture is intensely taught, lived, and experienced. Guests have a total of 37 rooms and apartments furnished with antique furniture, all with bathrooms, available in two buildings: the manor house itself offers 9 rooms, and an additional building constructed in 2007 provides 28 more rooms, accommodating up to 90 overnight guests. Additionally, there are four conference rooms, a restaurant, and a well-maintained pond.
Location and Distances
Chotynia is a historic village in the Masovian Voivodeship, with mentions dating back to the early 16th century. The village is very quiet, with no traffic and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The nearest towns are Garwolin (12 km) and Warsaw (70 km).
Usage Possibilities
The future use is entirely at the discretion of the new owner. The long-standing concept of hotel and event activities can be continued, but the property is also suitable for many other business activities that require space and can benefit from the surroundings of a historic estate. Whether organizing weddings, special events, conferences, training sessions, or team-building activities, the possibilities are numerous.
