Palace in Górki Dąbskie – A Gem of English Gothic Revival

The "Palace in Górki Dąbskie," constructed around 1870 at the behest of landowner Eustachy Rogaliński, exemplifies the English Gothic Revival style and captivates with its historic architecture. In the early 1920s, the estate was further remodeled by the last landowners before 1945. Following nationalization, the palace mainly housed administrative and office spaces for a newly established agricultural operation.

This two-story building with a basement features a distinctive square, four-story tower on its west side, enhancing its charm. The tower and façade are adorned with neo-Gothic elements, including an elegant parapet and battlements. The garden side is accentuated by a prominent risalit with a portico and grand staircase. Surrounded by a picturesque 19th-century landscape park, the estate spans nearly 2 hectares, home to two enchanting ponds.

The picturesque setting atop a small hill adds to the manor's character. A broad staircase leads into the park, with one of the ponds directly below. The park is lined with ancient trees, including an avenue of white chestnuts, which connects with an ash-chestnut alley. Notable natural monuments in the park include two pedunculate oaks with impressive circumferences of 280 and 330 cm, as well as a silver willow by the pond.

Since 1981, the palace has been listed in the register of monuments under number 102/A. The usable area amounts to 1,085 m², while the entire property covers approximately 7.58 hectares. Additionally, there is another building on the site measuring about 730 m² and a shelter of 615 m². The property is connected to local water and electricity networks. The palace and park require comprehensive renovation and revitalization. This historic property offers numerous opportunities for projects in the areas of leisure, recreation, or rehabilitation.
