Manor in Nowy Dwór, Łódź
Hidden manor houses in the Łódź voivodeship: Nowy Dwór
The present listed manor house in Nowy Dwór (skierniewicki district in Łódź voivodeship) is a rather late building from the interwar period. It was built in place of an older small manor house, which was destroyed during the First World War. Its distinctive, dissected appearance is a typical feature of the Polish manor house style. The manor includes other buildings, most of which were built in the early 20th century and are also listed monuments, including a servants' quarters, a granary, various outbuildings, and a representative brick gate at the main entrance to the manor house.A small private rehabilitation clinic has been located there since the early 1990s.
Immediately to the east of the manor flows the Rawka, an almost 100 km long river, which is a popular destination for canoe trips due to its romantic and natural character.
