Manor in Grodziec
Classical palace in Grodziec, south of Konin, Wielkopolska
The manor house was originally built in the second half of the 18th century for a Ciświcki family, bearers of the Polish noble Wieniawa coat of arms. It is a simple, single-storey building with two side risalites. Towards the end of the 19th century, a representative reconstruction took place, during which it received a stately six-column portico and a representative driveway. At the entrance to the park with the addressParkowa 6there is another stately house, probably the former estate administrator's house.
After 1945, the building housed a school, among other things. At present, the entire ensemble, including the estate park, is abandoned and in a state in need of maintenance.
