This plastered brick building, designed on a rectangular plan, exemplifies strict neoclassical forms. The front façade is dominated by a portico with four Doric columns supporting a triangular pediment. The building is not basemented but features a usable attic. The rear façade is adorned with an arcade supported by eight columns. The roof is a four-sided gable structure currently covered with sheet metal.
Noteworthy 19th-century wall paintings remain in some rooms, including cityscapes, symbolic and genre scenes, and portraits of prominent figures from Poland’s academic history. The salons also feature eight views of Paris and allegorical representations of the four seasons. Patriotic scenes, including Uhlans of Prince Józef Poniatowski, are displayed in the study. These works are attributed to Michał Stachowicz, a Polish Romantic painter known for similar decorations in Kraków and Rząska Castle.
On an adjacent plot, remnants of a unique defensive structure from the 16th century can be found, including a bastion, wall, and gatehouse.
Condition of the Buildings
