Old mansions in Lublin, Poland: Stryjno
The manor house in Stryjno (Rybczewice, powiat świdnicki, Lublin) belonged to the estate of the Polish magnate family Czarniecki and was built towards the end of the 18th century. It is a late Baroque one-story building on a rectangular ground plan. Towards the end of the 19th century two additional annexes were built and the facade received a neo-baroque overhaul. The former manor park is located in the western direction and today presents itself romantically overgrown. After 1945 Stryjno served as an elementary school until 2012. At present (2022) it is empty. There is no trespassing ban for the communal property, an active alarm system and motion detectors protect the standalone countryside property.
