Possibility to purchase a special plot of land with possibility of construction. The historical manor park in Ruda has an area of over 13 hectares and is located in the municipality of Dębe Wielkie, about 35 km from Warsaw. The soon to be completed access roads to the freeway and the national roads DK2 and DK50 provide quick access both to the capital and in all other directions.

The special feature of this historical park is its history as well as the possibility of building on it. The authority has given a written permission to build a small house here with a residential or recreational function, for example a guest house. A great place with lots of trees, ponds and a small river - away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet very close to Warsaw.

History of the estate:

The remaining peat fragments of the driveway are the last witnesses of the disappeared manor house of Ruda Dwór w Rudzie. The manor belonged to the Starzeński family from 1893 to 1944. Marian Kazimierz Starzeński acquired the manor in 1893 and rebuilt the manor house. The manor was especially known for its modern fish farming - even today Polish carp are bred in the ponds of Ruda.

Starzeński also made a name for himself as a social activist. He financed a local elementary school, supported the fire department and the construction of a new church in Dębe Wielkie. The estate remained in the family until 1944. Marian Kazimierz Starzeński died in 1943, after which his wife took over the management, but she had to leave the estate expropriated by the authorities a short time later.

Today's park corresponds to only a fraction of the original land. After many years, the descendants of the Starzeński family managed to get back 13 of the original 600 hectares of land.

The tragic story of the family was described by Karolina Wanda Gańko in the book "Count Marian Starzeński and his Family on the Ruda Estate". The book was published in 2015 by the Institute of Historical Sciences of UKSW (in Polish only) and was also the subject of a program on Polish cultural radio.
