Villa Gina is a magnificent historic villa, originally built in 1766 by an aristocratic Austrian family and named after its owner, Gina. In the 20th century, the villa became the property of the family of the renowned Italian artist Baldassare Longoni, whose paintings continue to grace the villa’s walls. The town’s main street is named in his honour.
In 2011, Villa Gina underwent a comprehensive renovation by its current owners. The property retains numerous precious details, including intricate stucco work, handmade floor tiles, frescoed walls, bespoke wallpaper, silk fabrics, and marble. It is further enhanced by authentic works of art, such as paintings by Italian artists, silk tapestries, antique furniture, and Murano glass chandeliers.

Located in Dizzasco, within the renowned Intelvi Valley that connects Lake Como and Lake Lugano, the villa is just a few kilometres from the well-known lakeside town of Argegno on Lake Como. Villa Gina offers a high degree of privacy while being within walking distance of a local bar, a traditional restaurant, and other amenities. The area is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers, and both the Lanzo Golf Club and the small ski resort of Monte Sighignola are just 10 and 17 km away, respectively.
